Kaftan Love
What Wikipedia Says about this amazing robe"
In West Africa, a kaftan or caftan is a pull-over woman's robe.[1] In French, this robe is called a boubou, pronounced boo-boo. The boubou is the traditional female attire in many West African countries including Senegal, Mali, and Ghana. The boubou can be formal or informal attire. The formality of the kaftan depends upon the fabric used to create it.

African Fashion
African Fashion is taking centre stage and i am proud to be a part of this. Asante when writing about Afrocentricity , he comes up with a term Agency as one of the vital signs of being Afrocentric. As African we have been represented a lot and it time to be in charge of re writing our own stories. Fashion is one of those things that Africans especially women are agents of. I think this is beautiful.
